About Us
Our story
Nagi’s Place was born out of a deep respect for heritage and a commitment to community. Inspired by the founding family’s Lakota Indian lineage, Nagi’s Place honors their Grandmother and the guiding spirit she represents. In Lakota, "Nagi" translates to "spirit that guides a person throughout their life and is not part of them." This guiding spirit, much like Nagi, is at the core of our mission—to lead and support the youth in our community with the tools and resources essential for nurturing positive, productive, and empowered members of society.
At Nagi's Place, we strive to embody the spirit of Nagi and transcend the tangible. Our services do more than simply provide physical resources—they are designed to invoke a sense of wholeness, connection, and purpose. Whether through educational programs, mental health workshops, or fostering support and oneness thru community resources, we aim to emulate Nagi by creating meaningful, lasting impact that goes beyond what is seen or touched.

We as a nonprofit organization aim to be a recognized name in community outreach and education, known for our dedication to uplifting the youth and strengthening the community. As we grow, we aspire to expand our reach and impact, touching the lives of all who need guidance, support, and a sense of belonging.
